The Bible in One Year:
Psalms 18:44-46; Matthew 16:1-12
Golden Verse
“The earth is the LORD’S, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it.”
(Psalms 24:1)

Unless we are intentional about being eco- friendly and aware of all the bad things we are doing to the place we live in, it’s easy to forget that we are only here temporarily. Measured by our lives in this earth compared to eternity, we are only living here for a glimpse of our lives as we will be spending most of our time in eternity with God. So when God made this earth and gave Adam and Eve commandments to take care of it, that same commandment applies to us too. We should be mindful of all the waste and damaging we do to this planet earth. Because although it is impermanent, we should take care of it because it belongs to God, the same One who created us.

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” – Jane Goodal
“Dear Lord, thank you for creating this beautiful place we call home, before we are united with You. Lord, continue to remind me daily to take care of it. Not just the plants and the animals but also all the people that live here. Remind me that You have created this and it was good. In Your Name I pray, Amen.”
