The Bible in One Year:
Hebrews 5
Golden Verse
Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.

Now that we have understood our purpose to reach out to others, we must know who and how can we reach out. We won’t be able to speak of God’s love if we don’t first love those who we’ll speak to.

Talking to friends and family might be the easiest but we must remember that God’s love needs to be told to beyond those people. Don’t forget, everyone must know of His love! Everyone! So how do we reach everyone? We must first get to know them and love them. It’s not an easy thing to do, but with the Holy Spirit, it can definitely happen.

Ask God for His guidance and courage to speak to those whom you may not know yet. Ask Him to bring you the opportunity to start talking about Jesus. Sometimes it takes a simple conversation on the bus with a stranger or a kind gesture to someone in need. Other cases, we may have to step out of our comfort zone and reach out to those who are already around us, but we may not necessarily see. These people include those who work at our schools as the cleaning staff, or the driver of the bus or public transportation. We see them and interact with them daily but we never reach out beyond what is necessary. Let that no longer be the case. God has placed all kinds of people in our lives and they all need Him. So get out of your comfort zone and do His work!

If you’re treating people poorly then you’re not emulating God’s love. God always resides with the broken hearted. (Shannon L Alder)
“Dear Lord, give me the courage to speak out to people around me. Give me the courage to have love for those whom I won’t necessarily love and I pray that You use the words in my mouth to reflect Your love, so they may also know You. In Your Name I pray, Amen!”
