The Bible in One Year:
II Corinthians 4
Golden Verse
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
(John 15:16)

Marricel Apartan is one of the successful cooking contestants from Phillipines who amazingly develops her cooking talent aside from her limits. Though she has no perfect and normal hand, she beautifully served the above-average meals and mesmerized the judges. She said that she loves cooking and will do it more instead of blaming her condition. She proclaims that it is her calling, and she will keep it.

God’s children should learn to live and be fruitful aside from their shortcomings and problems. As Marricel gave us example, when the life is not as we expected, the plan we made have failed, or when there is nothing left to steal you away, God must be enough for us and we must keep working for Him. Because one thing for sure that will never change is we are His, we should understand and honor His grace by continuing doing good. He said in 1 Corinthians 15:58 that our labor is not in vain.

If it is a guarantee, the assurance of His hands, then why worry so much? God is looking for the one who said, “If I lost it all, my hands will stay lifted to the God who gives and takes away. If You take it all the life You’ve given, my heart will still sing to You, because You will never let me go and I am still Yours, forever.”

Hang on, God’s got you!~ Anonym
“Dear Lord, help me to keep pressing myself to do more and worry less. Thank you for comforting me to trust you alone and to be fruitful in any situation. I love you, Amen.”
