The Bible in One Year:
Matthew 24:29-51
Golden Verse
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
(Psalm 34:18)

Love can be hurt! When you break up with your girl or boy friend, you will find yourself in deep sorrow. Some people feel their world falling down. They feel hopeless and almost without any happiness again. The question is, should we draw ourselves in a deep sorrow like that just because we break up with our girl or boy friend? We should not draw ourselves in such useless attitude. There is still hope and happiness out there. You have to “move on” and start all over again.

How can you “move on” from your broken heart? There are some tips for you. First, stop to communicate with your ex-girl or boy friend. How can you “move on” if you still seeing her/him? You have to stop seeing her/him temporarily until you are ready. Focus on yourself. Second, you can cry to make yourself feel better, but remember do not cry continuously. You have to find a way to cheer you up. Third, make yourself busy with your activities in school and especially in church. You could forget her/him easily. Fourth, you can share your sorrow with your parents or pastor or with your trusted friends. You can feel much better after sharing with them. Fifth, the most important thing, you can share your sorrow and tears with God in your prayer. Please remember that God will always be there for you.

Guys, please “move on.” You have to believe that God will give you the best according to God!

Only God can mend a broken heart (Kevin Walker, These Moment Pass: Poems)
“Dear Lord, only you can fix my broken heart. So I come to you and only to you. Please fix my broken heart and make me feel peace again in you. Amen.”
