Consider the blameless, observer the upright; there is a future for the man of peace.
New Year is coming in three more days. We can read and learn from the passage how King David, the psalmist, expressed his grateful to God. The Almighty God who answers prayers, saves and blesses mankind with his grace and love.
God blesses the land and enrich it abundantly. God blesses our days with good things and crowns the year with bounty. So we have to see God in the same way the psalmist did. Then we will have enough reasons to trust God and put our life in his hands.
First, look back at your life during this year and see how many good things that God has done for you. Be grateful for God’s love, grace and blessing upon your life. Then, write down your resolutions for next year, at least three or four resolutions. Put it in a bottle. Sealed the bottle and keep it untouched until the end of next year. Then open it and see whether you have achieved those resolutions.
“Dear God, my times and my life are in your hands. I surrender myself to you. You hold my future, so I trust you with my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”
