The Bible in One Year:
I Corinthians 16
Golden Verse
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 8:38-39)

The one thing that really stood out about Christianity, at least according to me, is that unlike other religion, our God came to us and sacrificed Himself for us. Whereas in many other beliefs around the world, thousands and thousands of followers are trying to get close to their gods or this being of supernatural that seems to be too holy or too out of reach.

What amazes me about God is that I can do wrong and He will still love me and forgive me, when I seek Him. He will openly take me back into His arms and forget all the things I’ve done that displeased Him. Without Him, I would be lost. Without His love, I was made to be nobody. That is amazing.

As Christians we are blessed to enjoy our Lord’s overwhelming love. Our Bible verse tells us that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rm. 8:39). May this promise continually strengthen our faith in Him and also make us love our Lord more and more.

“The Lord God fashioned us for mighty ends, and nothing less than following that for which He made us can heal our restlessness of heart.”- Arthur John.
“Lord, thank you for continuously forgiving me and loving me when I don’t even love myself. Thank you for never abandon me, but with open heart, still love me all the same despite all my faults. You never cease to guide me to the right path and is patient beyond my understanding. I truly don’t deserve it, therefore I am so grateful for you. In Your Name I pray, Amen.”
