As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death, So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?
Do you know the meaning of “bullying”? According to http://www.stopbullying.gov/ bullying means unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who are bullying others may have serious, lasting problems. That website says there are three major kind of bullying: verbal, social and physical bullying. Verbal bullying includes: teasing, name-calling, inappropriate sexual comments, taunting, and threatening to cause harm. Social bullying, sometimes referred to as relational bullying, involves hurting someone’s reputation or relationships. Social bullying includes: leaving someone out on purpose, telling other children not to be friends with someone, spreading rumors about someone, and embarrassing someone in public. Physical bullying involves hurting a person’s body or possessions. Physical bullying includes: hitting/kicking/pinching, spitting, tripping/pushing, taking or breaking someone’s things and making mean or rude hand gestures.
If you see your friends doing those things, please tell them to stop. If the bullying still persist, get help from your teachers or other adults like parents. But if it’s you yourself that are doing those things to others, please stop it right now.
“Merciful God, I pray for my friends who bullied me. I forgive them for what they did to me. Bless them so that they can change their attitudes and treat other friends with care and love. Forgive me if I have bullied my friends. Give me courage to come to them and ask for forgiveness. Amen.”
