The Bible in One Year:
Acts 2:1-21
Golden Verse
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
(Proverbs 4:23)

Forgiveness should be like a cancelled note – torn in two, and burned up, so that it will never be brought up again and used against one another.

When we say we forgive each other, its like a promise that we will not bring it up later at another argument or to be used against us at a later date.

We should learn to let go things that have been forgiven because when we hold on to them, we’re not really forgiving others. Forgiveness should not be temporary.

When you forgive, you in no way change the past. But you sure do change the future!
(Bernard Meltzer)
“Lord, teach me to let go of my past, to let go of any bitterness I may have towards other people, especially those who have wronged me. I pray that You can teach me from the mistakes I’ve made and let me grow into a better person than I was, into who You want me to be. In Your Name, I pray. Amen..”
