The Bible in One Year:
Matthew 17
Golden Verse
“For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
(Luke 6:44)(NKJV)

This famous quote I believe is not strange to all of us The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree (“apple” is usually used instead of “fruit”). Children are the same as their parents in many ways. So, how about us? As children of God, are we the same as God, our Father?
To be more like Christ everyday is not attained by our skill or strength. It is only by the Holy Spirit that we reflect the likeness of God.

To be able to love, we may have to face unloving people. To really feel the joy within, we may experience sorrow. To feel peace, we may be in an uncomfortable condition. We may face all of the contrary to produce these very fruits But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self–control. Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23-NKJV)

Don’t worry. Let’s keep our eyes on our good God. Just ask for His perfect consolidation. Immanuel.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion—it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ
~ Billy Graham
“Father in heaven, thank you for calling me Your child. Holy Spirit, fill me and control me. Let my life pleases You, Lord as I bear the fruits of the Spirit. In Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.”
