SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL, SPEAK NO EVIL

The Bible in One Year:
Matthew 13:1-30
Golden Verse
for it is written, “You shall be holy, because I am holy.”
(1 Peter 1:16)(NET)

As you read the Bible verses written above, let’s meditate verse 7. The NET version says For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness. What is “holy” to you? Is it living a seclusive life away from others? Or is it living without any media?

We are here on this earth to be with other people. We are social beings. Not spending too much time to watch TV or play your gadgets is good. Just remember that everything should be balance. We all need to have time for God, to be with our family, to do our work as students, even to play and rest or relax and sometimes to be on our own or do our hobbies.

The challenge is when we face difficult circumstances. We really want to be holy as God commands, but it feels hard, even sometimes it feels like it’s impossible to do. You can use God’s word below as a “check list”.

Arrange the letters to make the word to complete the sentence.

Finally, brothers and sisters,
whatever is …………. (ruet),
whatever is worthy of …………. (sepcret),
whatever is …………. (jsut),
whatever is …………. (peru),
whatever is …………. (volley),
whatever is …………. (ommendablec),
if something is …………. (exllencet) or …………. (praisowerthy),
think about these things. (Philippians 4:8-NET)

Christ beside me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me.
~ Saint Patrick
Prayer:
“Father God, thank you for calling me to be holy. Help me to think, speak and act Your words in my everyday life. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.”
