“The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
(Galatians 5:19-21) (NKJV)
I Corinthians 6: 8-20;
We, as young people, are pressured into relationships – the kind where you end up as husbands and wives. Our parents expect that from us, our circle of friends are doing exactly that and even in today’s entertainment, that’s the main theme. But what’s different between whilst we as Christians, are to live a lifestyle of purity. It may be the biggest struggles for some, but we are to honor God with our bodies.
We have to keep our thoughts pure as well. Focusing our thoughts on the right things will surely help.
Focus on the achievements of your life, your family, work and even communication with your future spouse. There’s so much more important things, because once you’re married, you’ll have all the time in the world to experiment sexually with your partner, so there’s no use acting on it before, when its breaking God’s laws.
“Dear God, help me to focus only to You. Help me to overcome temptations that are not pleasing to You. Help me to keep my life pure until the day i’m merried and keep my marriage pure. Let my focus not stray away from You. In Your name, I pray. Amen.”
