Acknowledge that the LORD is God. He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, we are his flock.
II Timothy 3:15-17
Most of us must have known that song, right? Yupz, it sang by Jason Mraz. That song tells about the singers heart that belongs someone he fell in love with. Doesn’t it awesome what love can do to someone who felt it? And the question now is, who your heart belongs to?
Okay, you don’t have to screams to say who is it, but what you have to know is to whom you give your heart, determines your future. Of course you may say, “my heart is belongs to Jesus,” but have you really give Him your full hearted heart? All your love? Or you only give Him 95% and give the 5% to the other like you boy/girlfriend, your toys, your hobby, or even to your parents?
I’m not saying that you have to hate them to love God 100%, but the point is do your love to them makes you a better person or not? Do you ever felt a broken heart while you love them? No matter how nice and warm hearted they are, they still makes mistake right? And it bring heartache to you. But not with God. He never hurt you nor willingly hurt you.
Since the first time you give your heart 100% to God, i can’t say that you won’t be hurt, but just see that it isn’t Him who hurt you, but averyone arounds you who doesn’t want you to have a good relationship with God. If you give your heart 100% to God, you will have no more room for hatred, jealousy, anger, etc. ‘Cause your heart has filled up with God’s love, and God’s love brings only kindness, and joy, no matter how hard life could be. So, will you sing it to Jesus, “I’m Yours.”
“Dear Lord, thank you for loving me all the time. Today I wanna give my heart 100% to You and let You do your will in my my life, so I will be cherish Your heart. Amen.”
