“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Whatever your age, we all make tough decisions often. Not only are there more decisions to be made but the choices gets harder and the implications are long lasting and permanent, than the decisions we make when we are younger.
Due to the effects our decisions have, its normal to be terrified in fear of making the wrong choice. But! Yes, I’ve placed a distinctive But! But, the cool thing about being in a relationship with Jesus, is that our decisions and our situations are not entirely ours to be made responsible. We can simply ask Jesus to guide is in making the right decisions by praying to Him. Ask Him to close opportunities that we shouldn’t take and open the ones that we should choose.
Jesus works in miraculous ways in showing the way when it comes down to choosing between 2 or even 5 different choices. We must be willing to see and listen to His instructions. Praying about a decision is about the most important thing we can do. And when a decision is made continue to ask for His guidance. He will not bring you through something (like a decision or situation) only to leave you, He will surely bring you through it.
“Dear God, show me the way. Lead me to a path that You have laid down in front of me. Give me the willingness to go to places I’ve never been before, knowing that You will always be there when I need You. I know You will never leave me so give me the willingness to obey and have faith in You. In Your Name, I pray. Amen.”
